From this morning after a meeting I had in Downtown L.A. in the Arts District / Toy District. I didn’t realize until afterwards that my first paid film gig was a night shoot right on this street back in early ’06.

Sorry, today’s pic is not very exciting compared to the mansions and Ferraris from a couple of days ago. I’ve been really bad about keeping up with this “daily” photo thing but maybe that will change — I just ordered a Canon S90 camera to replace my nearly dead Canon S70. I got it cheap with 10% Bing cashback at CircuitCity.com!

Shooting in the O.C.
Trying to shoot a narrative film on a Canon 7D requires overcoming a lot of compromises but once you get it all working right the results can be pretty impressive.
